PipFX Transitions -- Tips & Tricks General Tips
• Would you like to crop out distractions near the frame edge during part of a clip? That is a common need for almost all videographers eventually. Our nine new PipFX Crop Fade transitions can be handy for this.
• Need to reduce your clip to one quadrant of a background scene in a simple manner? Our new PipFX Fade-In Hold and Fade-Out Hold transition variations are terrific for that. In fact, any PipFX transition with 'Hold' in its name might fit the bill.
• Do you have several related clips that you want to transition repeatedly in the same manner? Consider our PipFX Zoom Mag Fade or Zoom In Soft transitions as a unique, elegant and powerful way to accomplish that without the 'typical' look of repeated transitions.

• Want to create the illusion of a clip flying over another clip? Apply one of our 14 PipFX that features a soft shadow around the PIP edge. You can see the shadow in the transition's thumbnail icon in Movie Maker's transitions list. Another way to recognize many shadowed PipFX transitions is to look for "2" at the end of the PipFX transition's name, such as Crop Fade Border2, Elliptic Crop Fade2, Fade-in Hold L2, Fade-out Hold R2, Fly-In Hold L2, Fly-Out Hold R2, and Zoom Fade Center2.
