1. Why is an X appearing over the Easy Packs effects or transitions? An X means you have the DEMO version installed. The demo overlays an X on the plugin’s output. Upon purchasing, the X will disappear. If you've already purchased and activated the packs and still see the X, it could be the project file cache in Premiere or Vegas. One easy way to manually clear that cache in either program by doing a "Save As..." on your project file. Or you can render final output which should not show the X. If the problem still persists, next try applying Easy Packs in a fresh project.

2. I installed Easy Packs but it is not appearing in my video editing program... what's wrong?
a. Please first check that you are looking in the right place within your editing software for Easy Packs. (To see where, click the How to Apply and Use link below for your Easy Packs version.) If you ARE looking in the correct place but still do not see Easy Packs, go to the next step below.
b. Re-start your video editing program, since new plugins are loaded then. If you still do not see Easy Packs, go to the next step below.
c. Please look at the name of the installer file you downloaded. Does it mention Easy Packs? If not, you inadvertently got the wrong installer from our download page. Please discard the file and go back to our download page to get and install the correct one. If you still do not see Easy Packs, go to the next step below.
d. Run Add or Uninstall Packs in your Start > Pixelan Easy Packs menu. Select Add or remove components and in the next panel make sure that the version for your video editing software is selected. Click Next, complete the update and re-start your video editing program.

3. I see a black screen (or other odd results) in my preview... how do I fix that? Easy Packs are hardware accelerated plug-ins that use your computer's video/graphics chip to speed up their rendering. Even if you have a compatible card, a small percentage of users may see unexpected results (such as black output) when applying Easy Packs. In that case, please follow these steps:
a. Run our small Activate and Configure Packs app located in your Start > Pixelan Easy Packs folder and use the Default renderer menu to switch the render engine to a different one. Then re-start your video editing program to see if the problem is solved.
c. If there is still a problem, please return to the Activate and Configure Packs app and click the Export text report button at its bottom. Then please contact us about the problem and paste the exported text into our contact form.

• Adobe Premiere (Pro or Elements) version: Compatible with all Windows versions of Premiere Pro CC (Creative Cloud) and Premiere Elements 2019 or later. These packs will appear in Pemiere with a [PE] suffix after the package name.
• Adobe Premiere CC version: Has an improved user interface, but is only compatible with Windows versions of Premiere Pro CC (Creative Cloud) 2017 or later.

• Vegas (Pro or Movie Studio) version: Compatible with Vegas Pro 13 or later (64-bit) and Vegas Movie Studio Platinum/Suite 13-17 (64-bit).

• CyberLink PowerDirector version: Compatible with PowerDirector 14 or later (64-bit, WINDOWS only).

• Magix Movie Edit Pro/Video Pro X version: Limited Compatibility* Compatible with Movie Edit Pro 2015 or later (64-bit), Video Pro X4 or later (64-bit) and Magix Movie Studio 18 or later (64-bit). *Some specific Magix Movie Edit Pro/Movie Studio/Video Pro X versions have incomplete plugin support. If you want to use Easy Packs there, please test our DEMO first (especially the transitions) and only buy if everything works fine.

You can at any time add or remove a version by running Add or Uninstall Packs in your Start > Pixelan Easy Packs menu. Select Add or remove components and in the next panel select the versions you want to have installed.
Note: It is not possible to add or remove individual packages from a version, you can only add and remove versions as a whole.
